2024 Wins – A Year in Review
Thanks to your unwavering support and dedication, we have continued to make a profound impact in the lives of those navigating cancer. Here are just a few ways you helped us WIN in 2024:
- We impacted over 400,000 individuals nationally last year.
- We gave out $214,000 in grants for patients to access care from an integrative oncology practitioner.
- Our podcast is recognized in the top 3% globally, including 100 countries, 104,000 downloads, and even transcribed for Amish communities.
- Ivelisse’s Nourishing the Soul Healing Journal was published.
- Welcomed two new patient advocates to our team.
- Added specialized pediatric support & grants to help more children.
- Painted and distributed over 830 Believe Mugs to remind patients to BELIEVE they can be well and are not alone.
- Partnered with ConnectUp Baltimore with quarterly online Prayer Nights.
- Distributed over 25 Hope Boxes to families over the holidays who lost a loved one to cancer.
- Expanded our mistletoe and integrative practitioner network.
- Established BBIH bi-weekly prayer meetings and healing tools developed.
- Phase 2 mistletoe clinical trial design work with Johns Hopkins and researchers from Germany.
Together, We Are Changing Lives! Thank you! Many of you have asked about the final results of our end-of-year campaign. Unfortunately, we ended the year with a $60,000 deficit of our $550,000 goal. However, we trust that the Lord will provide the remaining funds this quarter. With hearts full of gratitude, we continue to look forward, knowing that with God, nothing is impossible!
As we move into 2025, we are excited about how the MAHA Movement has opened opportunities for Believe Big in the ongoing conversations around cancer treatment and care. We’ve already made strides in transforming healthcare with the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Mistletoe Clinical Trial in collaboration with Johns Hopkins. Now, we are working to advance to Phase 2, with the goal of making mistletoe therapy a standard of care in the United States and covered by insurance. This is just the beginning—we will continue to innovate and transform the way cancer is treated around the globe!
